Moroccan Sign Language – Is it Real?

Moroccan Sign Language is not a language at all, but rather a series of gestures or signs that mimic the words. These signs are often used to help deaf people communicate with each other. It is not considered a language because it does not use grammar and lacks in vocabulary.
The first sign for Moroccan starts with both hands on the chin and then one hand moves across the face as if wiping off makeup, while the other hand mimics holding up an eyelid. This sign is followed by brushing your fingers through your hair, and then placing both hands on the cheeks and touching them together three times.

Follow your Roots! (Music Video with Moroccan Roots!)

In the song Follow Your Roots, the singer sings about her Moroccan roots. In this video, I will be discussing what it means to have Moroccan roots, where the country Morocco is located in relation to North America, and how Doja Cat’s music video is a visual representation of her Moroccan roots.
Morocco is located in North Africa, right on the Mediterranean Sea.
It borders Algeria to its west and Spain to its north. Morocco is also a part of a group of countries called The Maghreb States. These countries include Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania as well. The lyrics in this song allude to being able to travel back home any time she wants because she still has her roots with her when she was born in America!
