From Hobby to Thriving Business: How Tyrus Wife Ingrid Rinck Made Her Passion Pay

Tyrus Wife Ingrid -Scandinavian design and handmade products are in high demand, but did you know that it’s also possible to make a profitable living just by making things you love and selling them? One of the best examples of this right now is Tyrus Wife, who has gone from being an up-and-coming designer to a highly respected business owner in just three years time. Tyrus Wife sells her beautiful jewelry line all around the world, and she plans to open her own brick-and-mortar shop in her home country soon.

Found something you love

It started as a hobby. I loved cooking so I decided to start a personal blog and share my recipes with others. After I posted a recipe, it would get picked up by food bloggers in other countries and I had people asking for my recipes because they couldn’t find them anywhere else. It was then that the lightbulb went off. This is what I should do with my life!

Go slow (really slow!)

I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. As a child, my favorite thing was playing with my mom’s makeup and styling her hair. I loved the creative aspect of it all and how empowering it felt to make someone feel beautiful.
But when I graduated from high school, I decided not pursue this career because of the instability in the industry and because at that time my family needed me more. My brother had just been diagnosed with brain cancer and I was their primary caretaker.
I went on to work as a nurse for many years but it never felt quite right. It wasn’t until years later, after he passed away that I finally decided to take the leap and start my own business-Tyrus Wife Beauty Bar-named after both of us!

Set clear goals

Tyrus Wife owner, Ingrid Rinck shares the advice she would give entrepreneurs just starting out. I think it’s really important that you set goals for yourself and have a plan, she says. If it’s not going well, then you need to either reevaluate the goal or change your path.
I never thought I could be doing what I’m doing now, she admits. You have to have faith in yourself and believe in your abilities.
It all started with a hobby.
Ingrid was always making things with her hands, but as she got older and had less time on her hands, it wasn’t possible to keep up with her hobby like she wanted. So instead of getting frustrated, she turned this into an opportunity.

Stay focused on your path

Ingrid’s story is a great example of how one person can turn their passion into a thriving, profitable business. And she’s not the only entrepreneur who’s been able to do this. As I’ve said before, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t start your own business if you’re not an expert in your field. The world needs more entrepreneurs who are willing to take risks and pursue their passions!

Sell stuff to make extra cash

It’s no secret that we’re living in a world where every penny counts. And with the rising costs of living, it can be difficult to stay afloat without outside help. If you’re looking for a way to make some extra cash and you have some valuable skills that are in high demand, why not look into freelance work? There are tons of skilled workers out there who are willing to take on whatever tasks they’re given as long as they get paid.

Try new things

Ingrid has always had a love for cooking. It’s something she learned from her grandparents, and it became a passion of hers. One day, she found herself with some extra time on her hands and decided to try out an idea she had been thinking about for awhile: selling handcrafted hot sauce online.
She started making batches of sauce in the kitchen, photographing them with the backdrop of her kitchen and posting them on Instagram. She shared her story with friends and family, asking if they knew anyone who might be interested in buying some hot sauce for themselves or as a gift for someone else.

Always be learning

The best way to be successful in business is by always learning. You should never stop seeking out new knowledge about the world and the people around you. It’s important to realize that our world is changing all the time and if you don’t keep up with it, you’ll get left behind. Here are some tips for being a lifelong learner:
– Read as much as possible – not just one genre of books, but try different things. Try reading a book about fiction then switch over and read a nonfiction book about economics or psychology.

Good things come to those who wait

Ingrid started a home-based business about two years ago in hopes of changing her life. She started out with just one product, and she spent her free time developing recipes and baking them at night. I wanted to make something that I could be proud of, she says. Something that was wholesome and not full of chemicals or preservatives.
Ingrid noticed there were many people who were interested in what she was making, but it was difficult for them to find the product at their local grocery store. That’s when she decided to start selling her baked goods on Etsy and Amazon. It kind of took off from there, says Ingrid.
